Name the biggest, best, most important play in NBA history.

(Obviously this probably means a play that took place in the playoffs/Finals.)

When Lebron pulled his fabulously large and beautiful wiener out of his shorts right before tip off in the 2015 NBA Finals.

A moment that will live in infamy.

1- Ray Allen's 3.. gave Lebron a freakin ring.. he would have "only" 2 for his long career...
2- Kyrie's big shot vs GS... damn lucky Lebron again..
MJ's game winners.. though he was never down and may have still won in OT..
3-Kawhi's incredible buzzer beater bounce shot..
4- Magic's baby hook over Boston..

Bird steals the ball!

nah but it was probably Kyrie Hitting that shot.Which = Durant going to the Warriors

That one shot had ramifications for 4 years after that + it may still keep going

Yeah but the thing is, if Kyrie isnt in the game hogging the hero shots... LeClutch simply takes and makes that same shot anyway and the outcome the same.

Bron lets other dudes shine so they dont pout and refuse to pass or play D etc but he’s still automatic in crunch time when he needs to be.

So I dont really give Irving much credit for that shot tbh.

1) Jordan game 6 1998 finals shot
2) Kawhi Leonard's buzzer beater game 7 2019
3) Kobe alley oop to Shaq game 7 WCF 2000
4) Lebron blocking igoudala game 7 and Irving making that 3 late in game 2016 (tie)

coach's reaction says it all. that's finals MVP level clutchness. no wonder hakeem is a 2x finals MVP.

Think about how minuscule the margin of error is in someone's career. That shot goes in, Starks becomes a New York sports legend and has a play that gets shown in every NBA greatest moments montage forever. Instead, it barely gets tipped, and now all he's remembered for is going 2/18 in Game 7. Sports can be really cruel

Ray Allen's 3, it is either you lost the championship completely or you have at-least 1 last opportunity.

Kyrie is second because there is times left and GSW might miss or Cleveland can score, there is still few more possessions possible, but yeah that shot has so much amount of pressure on the line.

Series tied 2-2

Maybe not the biggest play in NBA history, but def that season for basketball

Honestly, you could argue the Prince block was the biggest play of that season. If Miller makes that layup the game most likely goes to OT, where if the Pistons lose they go down 2-0. Imo it's definitely debatable between the two
