Because if only one person gets it or doesn’t follow rules, it creates a domino affect. If they’re constantly testing, they’re gonna find more and more players that need quarantine. It’s just too much of a disruption. If you pull a calve muscle or experience back tightness, then you still have the option to play. With covid, you’re out 2 weeks even if you have no symptoms.

It would just be too much of a disruption since the virus is super contagious. Many that get it won’t know, but they won’t be able to play. Because of this inconvenience, I don’t think it would be a fun and fair way to compete. Imagine Giannis can’t finish the Finals because the test said he was positive and the test wasn’t even accurate. Heck pineapples get tested positive.

I just don’t know if this is gonna work out.
