This has always been a stupid take imo. If a man is open literally 1 ft from the ring are you really gonna ignore it and opt to play hero ball instead? Hill is also USUALLY a pretty good free throw shooter, better than LeBron. If LeBron drives, the D might have collapsed in and then you might be relying on a 3 ball chuck. Passing to Hill was just the most sensible thing to do imo. Also, no idea why Lou didn't call a time out after JR started running away with the ball.
