Do you think the Cavs could have beaten the Magic, and Celtics in the playoffs??

Well, if you're just talking talent switches it's an easy win over Orlando. Or at least it's absolutely a win. Don't know if they beat the Lakers.

But if you keep Iverson and his game? That wouldn't fit at all with LeBron. Iverson did a good amount off-ball but he's also a combo guard. And Iverson isn't the type to defer. They'd have to play fast pace and LeBron has to be less a scorer.

AI is basically a better version of Kyrie, which covers Lebron’s lack of desire to score all the points.
Kyrie is a better shooter though.
2009 is a win and 2010 would be more of a challenge but I’d give the nod to the Cavs.

Of course, but it would have taken a lot of chemistry development and sacrifices made by those two players. On the surface, that duo seems unstoppable due to Lebron willing to be the facilitator and AI being such a dynamic scorer, but both players need to have the ball in their hands on the offensive end to be successful. Peak Lebron during that time and peak AI were extremely high usage players, it would likely look like a better version of Westbrook and Harden. I know Lebron could make the sacrifices to be successful with AI, but I don't believe AI could have.

Iverson deferred to Carmelo Anthony when he played for the Nuggets. That Cavaliers team were pretty good defensively they just needed a 2nd scoring option. No nba teams in history are capable of winning an nba title with Mo Williams as your 2nd scoring option.

Nope. Lebron & AI wouldn't be able to co-exist. Iverson wasn't that great of a 3PT shooter nor a defensive player so Bron would have had him traded by trade deadline. We've seen Lebron with D.Rose & IT. It doesn't work.

Iverson may not be as good, but Iverson is a special player. Talent-wise, he was so good that his body did nothing to keep him from the top. His head did, yes, but if he had any little-man complex then it worked to his advantage.

He's too good a player for LeBron to just have traded. #1 Derrick Rose is not as good as Allen Iverson. #2 this isn't MVP Rose. If they don't make it work work, then they either blow up, or they individually do their thing and the team doesn't get it together. Look to Wade and LeBron for precedent.

Wade was getting beat up. And after his first injury that season he decided he had to go #2. Would a healthy Wade have made that decision? Don't think there's any chance.

Would a healthy and prime Iverson? Hell no, hell no. And even past it, he doesn't have that self-awareness.
