View Full Version : so the 1 on 1 that mj lost only went to 3?

i never thought much of it anyway. Mj was in his 40's and it was at a kids camp but 3 points? Plus i think dude played ncaa ball or something. That be like a golfer that played golf in college beating tiger woods on one hole when hes 50. Thats nothing.

It only went to 3, it was Jordan's like 15th consecutive one on one, but most of all he didn't put any effort assuming he's going to win anyway.

even if it was his first 1 on 1 and he was trying it be nothing to lose a 1 on 1 to 3 to someone who was a pretty good player. All you need is to hit a few half lucky shots and for them to miss one or 2.
The way bron stans go on i thought it was to 11 or even 7 and dude was a regular ceo guy. It was to 3 and dude played ncaa ball.

I disagree. Anybody could lose in a game to 3 but its not that big of deal so ill live it with it just fine. Id rather lose to lose in a meaningless game to someone whis not on my level in my 40's then lose to someone whos not on my level in the finals in prime.

Lebron is too strong for Jordan, he would abuse him in the post especially with no refs
Also, he's quick and long enough to shut Jordans offense down
Bad matchup for Jordan

Tyson lost to a white bum in his thirties. A black former ncaa boxer could definitely get lucky and knock tyson out in his 50's.

Bron is definitely too strong for mj but hes definitely not quick enough laterally to stay in front of him.
That said theres no way mj could stop bron from backing him down so in a regular 1 on 1 game bron wins.
Now if they played one on one like we play with a 3-5 dribble maximum thats a different story. Mj has the advantage there

That's where Lebrons length and recovery skills come into play. Even if Jordan gets by LeBron, lebron has the ability to recover and alter Jordans layup
And I've never heard of a 3-5 dribble stipulation in 1 on 1. Is that some sort of practice drill? Yeah sure if you add weird stipulations Jordan might have a better chance

not sure lebron would be able to recover once mj beat him. Mj finished over bigger and better rim protectors. Maybe older mj but definitely not pre 93 mj.
And om surprised you've never heard of 3-5 dribble one on ones. It simulates more of in game situation because in a real game you dont have time to dribble alot or back down for a long time to score. You have to be more efficient. Most elite training at high school and college levels implement 3-5 dribble one on ones.
