They were one of the few teams to able to utilized their 3 points shooting. Although they were a terrible defensive team they were the 2nd best offensive team in the nba. Sonics won 52 games with Allen and Lewis averaging 23.2 ppg and 20 ppg in the regular season. Ray Allen averaged 26.5 ppg in the playoffs. They lost to the Spurs in 6 games with Prime Duncan averaging 25 ppg, 12 rpg in that series. Spurs won the nba championship in 2005. And when The sonics had a new coach in 2006 They failed to make it in the playoffs.
