View Full Version : James Harden is now a 3x scoring champion.

Only Allen Iverson and Kevin Durant have more scoring titles than him in the last 20 years. KD and AI are 4x nba scoring champion. Westbrook is a 2x nba scoring champion.

People underrate him because they don't like him. He will go down as top 25-30 all-time.

He is underrated.

In 2018, the rockets took these warriors to 7 games while the cavaliers ended up with an egg in terms of winning the finals that year.

He is underrated.

He's either spamming step-back threes or he's shooting free throws. That's the extent of his game. It's no wonder that a lot of people find it off-putting. It's a shame because he is a phenomenally talented player, he just chooses to play in a way that will never get widespread recognition.

That has more to do with Chris Paul than it does Harden. He was making all the big plays and shots down the stretch in their 2nd and 3rd wins while Harden was doing his very best to step 3pter them out of the games.

Harden is a very gifted player, but the MDA gimmicky offense doesn't work in regards to actually having a great Playoff run... we've seen it over & over again. Harden doesn't get enough shit for the 2018 series. CP3 injury & all, but they were up in both Game 6 & Game 7, and he just bricked transition 3s until the Warriors came back & won.

He has too many Playoff chokes for him to ever be considered a legitimate top 25 all-time great player.

It's pretty sad that harden and his team also came up short against a limping warriors team who just lost kd in game 5 of the wcsf last year.

ESPN had him #32 and Harden still has several more solid years left to gain some more ground, even without a ring. People hold his lack of rings against him but there are plenty of players in the top 40 all-time who are ringless.

Fouls go both ways, and we know Harden goes into a lot of shots with the sole intent of drawing the foul, especially when he lands as much forward as possible on jump shots, refs see through that bullshit in the Playoffs.

Harden shot 24.4% from 3 on 11.1 3PA in the 2018 WCF, including 6/36 in the last 3 of the series. He's done this at least 3 other times in the Playoffs, where he completely disappears in the 2nd half of a series (Portland, Warriors 2015, 3 blocked by Manu, losing to the Spurs by like 40 pts without Kawhi).

Harden is putting up numbers more than he is playing great.

Not to say he isn't playing great, but his numbers are greater than his game right now. So he's gotta change.

And that list is pretty awful. And not legitimate.

yea but it wasnt bullshit, he was fouled twice denying 6 points, and it wasnt called.. then he made a 3 and it was disallowed, 9 pts.

then curry got a three after a moving screen, 12 pts. then ariza or gordon got whacked under the basket, 14 pts.

then was it loney(?) bricked a shit and got a jordan-esque bailout, 16 pts.

it was horrendous.

Harden gets a bad rap for not winning a ring. The Rockets kept losing to a superior and all-time great team in the Warriors. When he lost with OKC it was against a team with peak LeBron.

Player A, James harden did choke. See, this is the problem with looking at stats in a vacuum and not providing all the detail. I'm looking at the 4th quarter play-by-play for game 6, the closeout game. Harden entered the 4th quarter at 9:57 to play.

7:48 Rockets led 95-93 - Turnover by J. Harden (bad pass; steal by A. Iguodala)
5:06 Game tied 97-97 - J. Harden misses 2-pt layup from 3 ft
2:24 Warriors led 102-100 - Turnover by J. Harden (offensive foul)
1:25 Warriors led 107-102 - Turnover by J. Harden (bad pass; steal by K. Thompson)
:08 Warriors led 116-110 - Turnover by J. Harden (lost ball; steal by A. Iguodala)

Choke

Thats' the probem I have with him. For all his gifts, he still plays like a b*tch even though he doesn't have to. He's too talented to play like that, but it
