Marty Glickman is at the top of the mountain. He's the godfather. Need to take someone off. Either Breen or Harlan.

* I'm assuming, based on your list, that this is just for play-by-play guys.

Kevin Kalabrow. Every game with his lead commentary was good. Ralph Lawler too but he could be a homer.

Back in the 80s and 90s, Bob Neal from Turner was great.

I’m always gonna ride for Stacey King on things like this

Not so much for play by play but his entertainment value

Mike Breen especially makes me mute sound and watch less. Marv was gimmicky in the 90s but at least more 'unique'

I miss good commentators who talk about basketball. Hubie Brown at least talks ball...albeit he loves his stats

I enjoy Hubie too. I like the guys that talk about the game from a coaches standpoint...

Hubie Brown is by about a country mile the most knowledgeable.

I always liked Marv + Mike Fratello together, they were funny.

Why not? He was the most entertaining color guy.

Hubie is the goat

Harlan is great too

Marv WAS good once upon a time. Michael Cage and the guy who does a lot of Miami games are ****ing horrendous.

Hubie was good, although as he aged I personally found his a bit repetitive at times.

Big fan of Jeff Van Gundy, his combo of knowledge and humor is hard to match. Also liked Steve Kerr before he became coach of the Warriors.

If I had to pick a 3 man team I would go with Kevin Harlan, Jeff Van Gundy, & Steve Kerr. Perfect balance of enthusiasm, humor, & analyst skills.
