Kawhi is underrated as **** in the clutch. Practically every close game he plays in, he hits tough as nails shots in the 4th to lead his team to victory.

Damn I forgot CP3. I knew there was someone else. Anyway, I'd say these are the 5 most clutch. And I gotta go with Jokic.

Definitely giving it to KD. His length alone makes it difficult to block and he has bullseye accuracy shooting almost anywhere on the court. But I will admit, it depends on the team you're facing and the defenders.

Torn between KD & Kyrie. Kawhi has that one shot to his name but it happened in a tie game. We've seen him miss a FT to clinch a Finals series which ultimately ended up costing his team a championship. Have to go with Durant, since he's the hardest one to guard.

Kawhi was a sophomore that year. Come on man.

KD's hit more big shots in the Playoffs. I think he hit two game-winners from 3 in the 2012 Finals run. Kawhi's deadly from mid-range, but I know KD would get a better look from 3 to win the game, no one's contesting that shot, especially if it's in transition like the two KD hit @Cleveland to clinch the Finals in B2B years. Kyrie & KD are the better 3PT shooters and have a history of hitting big clutch 3s, which you'd have to consider in this scenario.

Playoffs, I dont know..

Kawhi hits clutch shots in practically every regular season game I've seen that is close since his last year on the Spurs.

Kawhi's buzzer beater as a raptor in a game 7 against the sixers was very memorable, too.

The answer is Jokic.

ralph_i_el
05-17-2020, 02:31 PM
You aren't going to stop Kawhi from getting a shot off inside the arc, so I choose him. I thought about KD or Kyrie because they're better off going for the 3 and the win. You can harass KD easier off the ball and try to stop him from even getting it, so I downgraded him for that.

Jokic is clutch though for sure. Tough decision.

Not a coincidence that it's the two guys with length and a pull-up J. There's always going to be a place in the NBA for guys who can reliably get a shot off quickly in any situation.

Axe

Those two guys have appeared a total of 7 times in the finals. Since 2012, it's only in 2015 and 2016 that neither of them appeared there while 2019 was the first time they played against each other in game 5, albeit it was cut short due to obvious reasons.

Has to be KD.

The guy is teetering around 7 feet and has no problem creating optimal looks for himself.
In an ISO situation, you know he's gunna get a makable shot off, irrespective of who is guarding him.

kd's the best shooter of the 4 from midrange and 3 so i voted. Kawhi gets the mj comparisons but he's been at around 45% for his prime while kd is closer to 50% the last 4 years. jokic's appealing but still an iffy jumpshooter. hard to draw up a post play in ten seconds
