would mj have more respect for winning those 1-9 years and losing in finals? you know? like would mj be more respected for winning more and trying to going further? or is 1st round losses better for his image? funny idea but people are confused at time points

if you look at who won the most playoff series in 13 years lebron still won more, even with mjs 6 rings

most playoff series won by top 30 players (not including fisher or horry)

kareem = 36
lebron = 35
duncan = 35
pippen = 35
kobe =33
magic = 32

Now rearrange those people by championships won

It’s pretty stupid for people who underrate championships to then glorify non-championship series wins. What are you celebrating. Coming up short?

Winning titles apparently doesn't matter as much anymore. As long as you stat pad and win a bunch of playoff wins against sub 50 win teams, your apparently supposed to be looked at as the greatest lol.

Lebron should have 8 or 9 rings by now

Injuries to teammates and facing unfair Comp is something Jordan never dealt with (inb4 you bring up the 80s.. stfu)

Because actual results never matter nowadays, duh...

And you can always have other things in your resume other than... winning.

Technically these 13:
08 Pistons
11 Celtics
11 Bulls
13 Spurs
14 Pacers
15 Bulls
15 Hawks
16 Raptors
16 Warriors
17 Raptors
17 Celtics
18 Raptors
18 Celtics

However, he also beat two teams in the 66 game 2012 season who were on pace to win 50+. These were the Pacers (52 win pace) and the Thunder (58 win pace). He also beat the Celtics in 2012 who were 39-27 (48 win pace), but may have been able to reach 50 if they had received 82 games. Also, the 2013 Pacers only played 81 games and won 49 games. I forget why they missed a game, but they obviously had a decent chance of winning it considering they were a very good team. I believe the game was against the Knicks, who they ended up beating in the playoffs. So he has beaten 16 teams who have played at a 50 or greater win pace, or 15 if you don't want to count the 13 Pacers. Plus the 12 Celtics who had an outside shot of getting 50+ wins. This is more 50 win teams than either Magic or Bird beat (in fact, even if you don't count any of those teams and only count it at 13 it's still more iirc).

It was because there were marathon bombings taking place in boston or something like that back then and rescheduling the games bet. them and the celtics wouldn't have impact anymore on their seedings anyway so they've just left it out as is.
