Hard to say. They were both explosive offenses that came close to winning chips. They were just different in terms of the way they were ran. The point gaurd in sloanes offense was used more of a facilitator. In dantoni system they're still used to facilitate but they have a large scoring role aslo.

MDA. It literally changed the league. Everybody runs a variation of it now.
Is there any hope that D can still lead his team to a championship with his system?

I swear to god this must be the dumbest post of the day.

Sloan actually had wrinkles upon wrinkles. Used across screening actions with guards like Jeff and Stockton setting unpredictable, uncomfortable screens on top of pick and roll spam like D’Antoni.
D’Antoni is an idiot who figured out the practicality of simplicity. His philosophy actually proves his unimaginative nature and not some genius but people don’t get that.
Look at how the Rockets played the past 3 years. It pretty much ran Chris Paul out of there with how predeictable they were.
On TOP of that D’Antoni coaches literally one side of the ball and doesn’t develop talent. He stinks. Teams have taken his principles and gone way further with them.

it's just the switch up between the 2 and the 3. the length of passes in the half court system are both not long enough to be successful in the playoff.

Sloan's Jazz teams were the most consistent RS team before Pop came along, and they actually made the Finals.

D'Antoni, like every else said was evolutionary groundwork to other systems.
Consistnt in deep playoff contention, hyper inflating stars potential. The only star player to digress under Mike D was Kobe, similar to how he did under Brown/Byron ball. (3 COTY's)
D'antoni Empowers his players potential putting guys like Jeremy Lin on the map

Both great systems . Neither won but that’s due to who they played against more then the systems

not really. The teams that win dont.
Every single team that won starting from 2011 onwards incorporated techniques that MDA pioneered.
