While I believed that early on in the investigation based on the eye witness report of someone that looked like OJ at the scene, I don't see the motive behind why OJ's son would kill the both of them. Murders like this usually have the simplest of explanations and this to me screams the jealous lover or ex type of murder. OJ had all the motive in the world. Dude saw his ex with a younger and more good-looking guy, while he was probably going through a mid-life crisis at the time...who knows.

Juice just wanted to politely question the young man, apprently Ron lunged at him when confronted and accidentely poked himself in the chest with the butter knife OJ took with him from the restaurant, incase worst comes to worse and OJ would need to stand ground. (which it did)
