Any long distance shot beyond the 3 point line should count as a 4 pointers.

only if they widen the court boundaries and allow teams to add an extra player on the court. i always feel coaches should be allowed to substitute themselves in at any time as well. would make things interesting

No way. Just move the 3 back.

Anyone remember the MTV celebrity games in the 90's? They had a 50 pointer around half court. Let's keep that stuff to MTV and NBA Jam. :lol

nah, only time they'll reinvent the traditional scoring boundaries is if theres a massive dropoff in interest or the talent in the league is overall diluted.

think 93-00 when they shortened the 3pt line

the league right now is in a good place and will have a huge inflation after play resumes from Covid's lockdown

Silver worked under Stern for a long long time so i'm guessing he knows when and when not to overhaul the game

plus this would have to gain a massive vote by the players association to even approve
