Multiple time Allstar? Extremely high basketball iq on offense with a good all around game. He was a significantly bad defender so how does that factor in if he plays today? How about him being forced into modern training and conditioning at a young age?

22-24 ppg in today's nba, but you need to surround him with good defenders

Fair assessments. Me and my friends fave Kukoc video from back in the day.

Overrated, he averaged 9PPG on 38% FG in 2\3 titles. He also never did anything significant without Jordan\Pippen\Phil.

Dario Šarić with passing skills maybe??

Toni had great talent and could even hit some big time shots.

But there was always something there that kinda left you wanting for more. Just not consistent enough.

Drazen Petrovic was a far better player. That dude was a baller.

Part of it is maybe a lack of agressiveness?

Agreed. He would have been great in any era.

Dino Radja was trending to have a pretty decent career too but only played 4 years. Not a name you hear often when talking about some of the notable Euro/NBA crossovers back then.By his third season he was doing rounded off 20/10.

It’s hilarious how overrated he is. He had an entire half a season to start while Pippen was recovering from surgery in 98 and he did absolutely nothing different. As I’ve pointed out before, he only got worse in each successive season from 95 to 98 despite being at an age he should be in his prime.

OP is half a retard ****ing troll with his bullshit nonsense.

It was an open ended question to ask for opinions how is that bullshit?
Did you see me disagreeing with people who call him overrated? You could have said your piece without attacking anyone but that's not you I guess.

Taller version that couldn't shoot as well

Nice comparison. He might be a mix between Bojan and Ingles but with Kukoc having less mobility and poorer defense.

He played in a tougher defensive era with a slower pace. Every perimeter player from then would score more today. People try to distinguish between 3 point shooters and others but it is a false distinction. First, even a guy like Kukoc would be taking more 3's today. Second, you don't need 3's to benefit from more open lanes to the hoop.

Peak Kukoc probably could give you 18-19 PPG as a #2 option on a playoff team today.

18-19ppg on a good team sounds about right but I wont be surprised if he gets 22-24pg like what the other poster said with 7rebs 7asts on a bad team with him as its featured player.

He'd be more efficent. His role would probably be similar to what it was in Chicago though, never your best or 2nd best player

That said I love that Petrovic was brought up. Can you imagine what his career would've been had he lived?

Petrovic was easy to gauge as a player because he was really that good as opposed to Kukoc wherein the discussion could go either way.
