Proves Pierce is low IQ and horrible at evaluating players

That trade would've netted them a dynasty

For some reason I thought Paul was more than a year older than Rondo. Being the same basic age that’s a totally reasonable thing to want loyalty aside.

Wonder if that’s where the Rondo-Paul beef also started.

Shit.. lebron owning pierce then winning with washed up Allen AND rondo is really quite poetic

2020 pierce: "Lebron isn't top 5:cry:"

The wounds are still fresh

No it proves Pierce is loyal. Given how the guy you stan hops teams I get that you wouldn't consider that but such a thing as loyalty to a teammate does exist.

rondo's wingspan in a boxing match would be a nightmare.

6'0 tall, 6'9 wingspan.

:wtf:

Theyre not mutually exclusive. If management wants to make a deal that makes the team better its not really a good idea to intervene because you want to be 'loyal' to a teammate for your own selfish reasons.

Low IQ gangster mentality and it cost Celtics a dynasty and gave Lakers an extra 2

Ouch

rondo was really dirty circa 2010-2012.

In the 2010 series versus Cleveland 60+ win team, paul pierce and ray allen were AWFUL.

Rondo and KG were by far the best players. The man dropped 29/18/13 in a pivotal game 4 that basically totally KO'ed the Cavs.

They would get blown out in record fashion in games 5 & 6.

Paul was better, but not that much better.

Stupid post. Celtics fell off because Garnett wrecked his knee. If KG doesn't get hurt the Celtics are right back in the Finals in 2009. And Pierce didn't intervene, he was asked his opinion and he gave it. GMing the team from the shadows would be your guy's M.O., not Pierce.

"Nah no way we ain't doing that" in regards to trading for the best PG in the league and arguably the best player at the time in Chris Paul for a guy who was a 4th fiddle and throughout the 08 season was considered a liability because of his lack of shooting/scoring

Yeah, keep justifying why it was cool for pierce and kg to vehemently be against trading rondo for 'loyalty purposes n shit'

They would've won in 09 even without kg btw if they had Paul. He would've been the best player on the Cs instead of 4th like rondo was

In the 2009 playoffs Rondo averaged 16 points 9 rebounds and 9 assists. Chris Paul is great but he's not doing much better than that. Why you think the Celtics win the Championship without their best player (Garnett) I don't know but you're showing an ignorance of recent NBA history. On top of them not winning after 2008 due to KG's injury, in the 09-10 season Rondo started making All-Star games and didn't stop until he tore his ACL. Meanwhile Allen was declining up to the point where he lost his starting job to Avery Bradley. After 2009 Rondo was not just the "4th best player," he led the past-prime "Big 3" to Game 7 of the ECF vs the Heatles...given who you stan you should at least remember that much.

Not only that but his hands are literally bigger than Pippens and Kawhi’s :biggums:

What are you even saying? Paul was miles better than Rondo, and most likely would have catapulted them to a title in '09, without KG.

Yet another reason why players opinions are utterly useless. They rely too much on loyalty and emotions. Wanting to roll with Rondo instead of Paul?

Exactly how many teams has Paul lead to the Championship? He has been better than Rondo but in Rondo's All-Star years he wasn't that far ahead.

I don't believe this shit ass lie. Ainge is a cold-blooded GM. The last thing he would do is ask his players to approve a trade or give their opinion. He traded KG and Pierce while not batting an eye.

Garnett had a no-trade clause. He had to be asked. Ainge is ruthless but he consults with his team's leaders.
