Not only did Jordan win 6 rings but he hit home runs in baseball and made a movie in between all of that. Doubt Lebron could play another sport.
People say Jordan failed at baseball. Nonsense. He hit .250 in the fall league and had 3 home runs. This is against semi pro players and Jordan had not played organized baseball since he was a kid. Think about how much ambition you have to have to go from winning 3 championships to playing baseball.
Jordan had 3 home runs and 30 steals. 3 home runs.. I know guys that never hit a homer in their life and Jordan did it against pro prospects. That’s phenomenal. Doubt Lebron could do it.
If Jordan would have continued then he would have been a pro. Saying he failed is stupid. Just because he was the greatest in basketball doesn’t mean he can be a Barry Bonds or Babe Ruth in baseball when he hadn’t played in years and years. He just jumped in and was a decent player in the minors. That’s phenomenal. It would be like Bonds coming to the NBA and averaging 12 points a game in the NBA. If Jordan would have continued he probably would hit like 20 home runs in the pros, bat .275 and steal about 40 bases per year.
Highlighted in his last dance doc? 😂

Absolute nonsense. It would be like if Bonds went to the g-league and averaged 6 a game off the bench and played horrible defense.
When he actually played a full season he hit .202 with like a .500 OPS. If he isn’t Michael Jordan he isn’t even remaining on a AA roster.
The fall league is a very small sample size. He hit .250 but he also struck out in almost a third of his at bats. You can hit ok for a month but his peripherals were not there. There’s a reason they play 162 games. Things normalize over time
He might have eventually made the league simply because of his name but major league pitching would have eaten him alive. And it’s not that he should have been great, but people who say he would have been if he played more are full of shit or don’t know what they’re talking about. He played throughout his childhood and wasn’t any sort of prospect in high school.
It’s impressive that he could remotely hold his own but he just wasn’t that good. He would not have been a great baseball player had he never played basketball.

You don’t know what you’re saying. I’m not saying he was gonna be a Barry Bonds. But I know many people that never hit a home run in their life. And they would never hit a home run in the semi pros. Jordan actually hit 3 home runs against semi pro pitchers. That means he’s still better at baseball than 99 percent of people. I don’t know anyone that could hit one home run against semi pro pitchers. And you guys act like he couldn’t play at all.

In the Jordan documentary The Last Dance they showed him playing baseball and he looked good. Coaches and Frank Thomas said he was getting better quickly.

What I wonder is how much of a difference does height makes in terms of batting. Longer arms, longer swings. I'm not a baseball expert, but I wonder if hurts a player the size of Jordan.
It was impressive with Jordan being an older player trying out a new sport, yet still being able to put up some numbers. I'm glad he came back to the NBA though.

It was all a publicity stunt to feed Jordan's ego.
