It is not farfetched for a person from 21st century to take a cellphone to 9th century and be seen as a witch & treated accordingly.

I also do suspect that if God does exist, God does not care about humanity enough to involve himself/herself/itself in our doings. Prayer and religion is unnecessary and does nothing to make any difference beyond the placebo effect, which is well-established. One simple question I have - The Jews in early 1940s were praying and begging for God in those extermination camps as they were forcefully lined up nude, often raped by multiple Nazi officers, children/women put into showers where they were gassed alive and burned in massive ovens. Men were forced to work in slave camps to death while being starved, experimented on and taken advantage of. Where was God then? I took a class on Holocaust & Genocide years ago, and I sat there openly questioned the existence of this God. I saw photos of ovens, half-burned bodies, people buried alive in massive pits, men with half their bones hanging out, eyes that showed torture & pain beyond anything that made me sick and contemplate humanity, life, existence, everything. Where was this all-powerful all-loving God?
