It’s such a good thing we’re getting the NBA back why are they gonna try to ruin with some bullshit playoff systems? Just keep it East and West 1-8, each team plays 6 regular season games.

So they're still planning to change the original format? Poor thing.

I'm not sure that what we'll see will br better but if you just end the season where it is you make the strength of schedule more important than it should be. There is valid reason to try and make things fairer.

they're trying to put some fancy, extra spin on this for no reason at all..

I don't mind if they change things a little as long as it is conceptually fair and gives similar advantage to leading regular season teams as they would normally get. The games being held in one area make certain things possible that would otherwise not be and if the league chooses to take advantage of it I wouldn't begrudge them given the disadvantages the situation otherwise presents.

they're trying to put some fancy, extra spin on this for no reason at all..Normally a team plays their own conference teams 4 times and the other conference twice with one or two (or whatever) teams they play 3 times within an 82-game season. It's not completely fair but it's close enough. But asof right now the teams have played anywhere between 63 and 67 games with most teams between 64 and 66. And I don't have the time to research who has played the Lakers 4 times vs. once or twice or not at all. Someone is guaranteed to have a very legitimate gripe.

Yes, you wouldn't mind because the warriors aren't going to play in the postseason anyway, the first time for them since 2012.

So nuff said.
