Looks like Saturday, weather permitting. Speaking of weather we've currently got the remnants of Tropical Storm Bertha in Charlotte. Way early for that shit.

2020 and can't launch due to weather...

Funny thing is that if we were in 1989, many people would say the same thing.

Launch happening TODAY, in exactly 28 minutes (if weather allows, 70% chance it will happen today). Being covered live on CNN.

Try telling that to the Challenger crew

Horrible fact of the day... the Challenger crew didn't die when the shuttle exploded... they died from the impact of the ocean and it's probable that all of them were conscious all the way down.

Where are the flat-Earthers at??? Clearly can see Earth's curvature. Flat-Earthers conveniently cannot be located in moments like these

Space-X is in cahoots with Nasa... they're faking it.

Wtf. Signal on live feed was lost during the landing of the rocket back to earth. When signal comes back on rocket already landed on the pad.

Prepare for conspiracy theories.

That happens every time I noticed. Don't think I have ever actually seen that 1st stage rocket land live on the pad

Can someone explain to me w.tf we just all watched. The falcon 9 rocket was returning back to earth.. it was still up in space. 1 second later feed is gone. 2 seconds later feed comes back and rocket magically appears on the pad without any smoke. It took 2 seconds to land?

Vox.com: "If all goes as planned, the Crew Dragon capsule, which rides on the top of SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket, will make a 19-hour trip to the ISS. The capsule is designed to fly mostly autonomously, but astronauts Robert Behnken and Douglas Hurley will take the controls while in Earth’s orbit to test out its manual capabilities. Docking with the ISS, however, is supposed to be completely autonomous, which is a new feature of the upgraded capsule. A second version of the capsule, the Cargo Dragon, is designed to use this automated docking for seamless deliveries to the ISS. After docking, the astronauts will live on the space station for a few months — the exact timing is not yet decided — before getting back in the Crew Dragon and returning to Earth."

It's not a conspiracy... I'm pretty sure it's the proximity of the camera to the landing pad and the interference involved... I don't know why they continue to keep the camera so close given that they know it fails so often.

It's actually because of the internet signal being through satellite. When the rocket gets close, there are too many vibrations to keep the signal intact with a satellite in space.
