They missed the playoffs from 2014 to 2019. The Lakers curse is officially over.

You mean Anthony Davis.

LeBron was gone fishing last year after the regular season.

Anthony Davis is the best player we've had since Kobe tore his achilles.

Strange.

Last time I checked Lebron joined the Lakers last year but failed to make the playoffs.

Yet they made the playoffs when AD suddenly joined as well.

Very interesting coincedence.

Jordan failed to make the playoffs when he played for the Wizards in 2002 and 2003.

Because in that team, no one had to bail his washed up ass out, obviously.

championship contention with the same cast Bro. I'm all for rooting for LeBron but this is too far. Get your facts right.

In the 2019 offseason, the Lakers traded away Lonzo Ball, Ingram, and Hart for Anthony Davis who have made large contributions on the court too. It is NOT the same cast. Not hard to understand to differentiate from 2019 to 2020.

The main differences between 2019 and 2020

-They got Anthony Davis, one of the deadliest lob finishers in league history and a MVP candidate too
-They got Danny Green, a great 3 AND D player
-They got former DPOY Howard (Note: He was a bit old though and not as quite the same roughly 10 years back)
-They got Avery Bradley who is a former 2X All-Defensive player
-Quinn Cook
-Jared Dudley
-Markieff Morris (mid season)
-And finally Dion Waiters (mid season)
--------------------
They lost Lonzo Ball, Ingram, and Hart in the offseason and they waived away Troy Daniels. (He is currently signed with the Nuggets, I think.)
--------------------

The Lakers gutted like pretty much 1/2 half of their roster. Not exactly the same roster.

I have to got to give credit to the front office because they did a GREAT and AWESOME job of surrounding old LeBron and prime/peak AD with great and sizeable talent this year. (It's the Lakers, not surprised b/c they have history of good front offices and winning history). When LeBron retires or leaves the Lakers they still got prime AD to build around in the upcoming years when LeBron has declined significantly or retires.

Also the Lakers upgraded the head coaches. They went from Walton to Frank Vogel who once coached the Pacers who were well known for their tenacity on defense.

A 35-year old king digging a banged-up lakers team from a postseason drought, getting his ass bailed out by a 27-year old chicago native and superman, in which the lakers went 21-1 in the outgoing season whenever the latter scored at least 10 points or more.
