Don't forget.

The warriors also have other all-stars/former all-stars in that roster, such as donkey and iggy.

KD 2017 and Kobe 2001 are similar playoff runs I think. Both stats exaggerated because the team they were on.

Not Shaq, he was what the whole offense was built around. Phil Jackson built the triangle strictly around Shaq, it was his team like Jordan with Bulls.

Because he used to be the most dominant player during that time and was matured enough to take the role.

I was telling OP the more appropriate comparison for 2017 Durant is 2001 Kobe and not Shaq. Everybody knows Lakers 3 titles 1999-2002 was all about dumping the ball to Shaq being built directly around him as clear cut 1st option.

Kobe/Durant stats were enhanced because they were able to disguise themselves behind the talents of Shaq and Curry/Klay

Duh.

Except that kobe never had the fmvp in that run due to obvious reasons.

Huh? Are you saying that 2017 KD was the #2 option like Kobe was in 2001?
