Damn, so Jordan's 65 win (average) teams were facing teams that won 11 less games? LeBron faced teams that actually won more than his team. Night and day contrast between the two contexts.

LeBron played with more talent than some of those MJ bulls teams and barely squeaked out 50 wins. Lebron took multiple 60 win teams and turned them into 50 win teams

The Heat won 37 without LeBron; the Bulls won 55 without MJ.

Are you including injuries and trades?

Yes--it is even worse for the Heat when you narrow it down. The Heat were 22-30 when Bosh went down for good but went 15-15 the rest of the way since they acquired Dragic after Bosh's final game. So the Dragic trade and Whiteside emerging masked how bad the Heat really were.

The common excuse is Wade was hurt too--but he was hurt less in 2015 than in 2014 (the disingenuous claim is that Wade being hurt was somehow a unique event rather than an annual one in the 2010's). When Wade and Bosh played Miami went 13-15--a 38 win pace, so similar to their 37 win total. Meanwhile the Bulls played at a 63 win pace when both Pippen and Grant played.
