I've been investing in stocks for over a decade, a lot of my retirement is in REIT stocks as I've mentioned many times here. Besides just saying it, provide SOMETHING that suggests in a crash because as I've proved just about all of those companies that are supposedly hurting are valuated the same if not better in comparison to pre-covid.

REITs are going to have an awfully difficult time recovering from this. All those businesses have taken a hit. The number of occupancies will decrease and delinquencies have increased. As more and more businesses evaluate the risks of opening physical stores that could be looted at any time, they end up not doing so. REITs just sit their vacated and lose value. I can see why you'd be upset though.

If you think the current validations now are indicative of the future of the economy, you're screwed. 40 million plus unemployed Americans aren't gonna fix itself in six months. The thousands of businesses effected by the coronavirus and damage from the ongoing riots, it will take years to get all those jobs back.
