In any playoff game he ever played in. MJ has a record eight 50-plus point playoff games. The all time playoff record for the most 30-plus point playoff games with 109. He has 173 playoff games under his belt where he scored 20-plus points. He did all this while never allowing a game 7 in the finals.

If a main player only scored 8 points in a finals game against jj barea and jason terry? will you consider him a goat? :confusedshrug:

Yeah but he had 7 playoff games where he only had 1 assist.

In three of those games he took over 30 shots. In two he took 35 shots.

When you see that you start to realize why he never scored under 15 and it wasn't because he was totally awesome.

Yeah but he won those series. MJ had to score more to win (which they did) otoh LeBron getting locked up by 5’6 Barea cost him the series. But but rebounds....but but assists....

No he lost most of those games where he took 30+ shots. Two in the ECF (he lost another one of those 1 assist games in the Finals). Jordan even apologized for his low IQ approach - he knew 9-35 with 1 assist wasn't going to get it done.

In essence, MJ always knew that he had to play more like LeBron in order to win. If he forgot, Phil Jackson would remind him.

LeBron accounted for 34.2 points per game via scoring and assist points created in the 2011 Finals.

In game 1 he put up 36 points.

Game 2 - 31 points.
Game 3 - 39 points.
Game 5 - 41 points.
Game 6 - 36 points.

Bron is so GOAT that even when you think he sucks he's still good.

The Bulls were almost unbeatable in the 90's when Jordan passed the ball.

Here is how the Bulls did in the 10 games MJ took the most shots in his prime:

1996: 9-1 (63-9 in other games)
1993: 5-5 (52-20 in other games)
1992: 7-3 (60-12 in other games)
1991: 5-5 (56-16 in other games)
1990: 6-4 (49-23 in other games)
1989: 5-5 (42-30 in other games)
1988: 4-6 (46-26 in other games)
1987: 3-7 (37-35 in other games)

How about the 10 games MJ took the least shots?

1996: 10-0 (Bulls 17-0 when MJ took 18 or less shots)
1993: 9-1 (Bulls 15-1 when MJ took 21 or less shots)
1992: 10-0 (Bull 24-0 when MJ took 19 or less shots)
1991: 9-1 (Bulls 28-1 when MJ took 21 or less shots)
1990: 8-2
1989: 6-4
1988: 6-4
1987: 3-7
