View Full Version : My 4 point plan to destroying racism in America (policy) #StayWoke

Taking down racism, is actually quite simple -- here's how we do it...

a) dismantle structures of systemic racism

Mass detainment/incarceration is a beast that took several years, with a large number of laws and arrangements, to construct.

We have to disassemble it -- piece by piece, structure by structure, and fabricate something redemptive in its place.

It's not broken. It's working precisely the manner in which the individuals who structured and constructed it planned it to work.

It's terminating on all chambers. It must be nullified, defunded, and totally reconsidered.

So how do we take it all down?

It starts with policy.

I've outlined a 4 point plan...

1. Defund law enforcement + invest in communities

- divert police funds into community-based, grass roots programs
- legalize/decriminalize drugs
- safe injection sites
- more drug treatment funding/facilities
- more funding for mental health/schools/housing
- no more police in schools
- create a federal task force/review board for police shootings

2. Zero tolerance on police violence/brutality

- no more "no-knock" raids
- ban chokeholds/restraining techniques that limit respiration
- redefine "resonable force" -- consider "necessary force"
- funding for "de-escalation training"
- public reports on all excessive use of force incidents

3. Decarcerate

- no more cash bails
- no more pre-trial surveillance
- eliminate death penalty
- legalize drug possession
- increase funding for public defense
- move all drug related cases to diversion/treatment programs
- eliminate targeting of homeless people -- no more petty, low-level charges

4. Immigration reform

- federally fund/support/legalize sanctuary cities
- eliminate local law enforcement collaboration with ICE
- no more deportation without full legal review
- budget/funding for public defense of undocumented refugees

The only way it would stop is if all the races in the world were mixed genetically. And then instead of racism it will be something else. Like a slightly different belief of the same religion. And if two groups separate for a couple of hundred years, and one group has say slightly bigger eyebrows than the other, then that would be enough for those with racist tendencies to obsess over.

A blades of freedom giveaway will probably placate the hostile crowds

They probably haven't had a good shave in a while

Attitudes and culture will change when systemic racism ceases to exist.

It's all about stats, facts and policy.

You should buy a carton of BOF to be distributed gratis to demonstrators as a sign of good will, if you can afford it.

:oldlol:

in some ways i kinda hope we do abolish the police force... no doubt it would be beyond hilarious to witness millions woke white women and soyboys who are protesting right now realizing how terrifying this world can be when youre the victim of a crime and nobody is coming to help... or how scary it is when a black man in central park asks you to put your dog on a leash (that "racist" woman had hillary supporter written all over her).

theres a reason why literally every country on the planet has a police force

I'm cool with putting some of these communities in charge of their own police force but you damn well know organized crime will run through them in a lot of these "urban" areas. :lol

Great post OP. If you haven't read bernie's plan already take a look at that. It has even more items:
https://berniesanders.com/issues/criminal-justice-reform/

One interesting thing that the Trump administration has been burying are consent decrees - basically a way for the Department of Justice to audit and retrain a police department that has too many complaints against them. This has been done in the past retraining the police in Portland, Oregon.

Under Biden these could be used to great effect retraining the nation's police force in conflict de-escalation and forcing police to reform the way they investigate complaints and report their findings. Much more transparency is needed.
