We got protests all over the world, thanks to the power of social media.

- Berlin
- Calgary
- Toronto
- Rio De Janeiro
- Sydney
- London
- Copenhagen

The world is unified as one, in solidarity for George.

Imagine in the past how this (George Floyd) would have gone down...

I'll give you a hint...

Just another statistic.

Just another number, swept under the rug of white supremacy.

We can now make a real difference -- policy and legislative change. Breaking down centuries of systemic racism...

And guess what? They're scared. The old boys club's days are numbered. They're cowering in their fallout shelters...

We're coming... Because when we organize... We win.

I know the whole post is a troll, but as far as the bolded...

The real good old boys riding them like mules still probably feel far too safe.

They need to show up at the homes of white politicians, media members, and celebrities who are ENDORSING THE RIOTS. And find out if theyre the allies they say they are.

They need to show up at Seth Rogen’s home and break a few windows. They need to set the Minnesota governer’s car on fire. They need to storm the home of the CEO of Viacom and tie him up.

If those folks continue to be allies in the wake of personal confrontation, destruction, and violence, they can all move forward together.

If they dont...

If it turns out Hollywood and NBC and the DNC are simply using them as pawns to seek power and social superiority over Trump and other white people...

Black folks will know who the real snakes in the grass are.

Social media and the right/left polarization of the mainstream media has broken society into two bubbles with different realities, and its currently causing this nation to tear itself apart.

If your social media is full of left-wingers and you only watch left-leaning news, you are only seeing videos of unprovoked police attacks on protestors... if your social media is right-wing and you only watch right-leaning news, you are only seeing videos of looting and arson.

Very few people are able to see the tragic irony of how the protestors and cops are mirroring eachother - most of the protestors acknowledge that most cops are not bad people, the real problem is that the bad cops are protected by good cops, which poisons the entire cop basket in the eyes of the protestors. At the same time, most of the protestors are peaceful, but a relatively small number of bad actors are taking advantage of the protests in order to do looting/arson/vandalism... and thus the entire basket of protestors is being poisoned by a few bad apples as well.

Both sides (but especially the protestors) have become so blinded by their rage and their sense of self-righteousness that they are completely unwilling/unable to do any kind of self-reflection or make any attempt to understand the situation through the other sides shoes... and its hard to see any way that the nation can escape from our current feedback loop of escalating violence and anger.
