Very bad time for Middle eastern americans, even Lebanese who have been here since WW1 ended.
So not EVERYONE came together.
We were being treated like absolute sh!t by black & white americans for years after.
My first GF in middle school (white Hilary duff doll type) had a father who called me "sand n!gg3r", and threatened to kill me if he ever saw me with his daughter again.
But yeah, sort of unified, under a BIG LIE.
