According to nets beat writer Anthony Fuccio. He's still rehabbing from his Achilles tear injury.

Wow. I hoped that KD would return. Oh well.

"Rush back to playoffs and hurt yourself" he already did this last year and screwed himself. Next season is December after only a 2 month off season, might as well wait it out.

It takes 14 months to heal from an Achilles?

That's odd. He should be fully healed by now.

A shame we don't get to see one of the most talented players of all-time perform on the big-stage (especially in my city too) this year. Next year will be lit for Brooklyn though.

Why? What chemistry have the Nets established yet with KD and Kyrie that makes you think they're beating the teams led by those players? Coming off an Achilles injury the best case scenario for him is like the 3rd or 4th best player amongst that group.

i have a hunch durant at even 90% would embarrass giannis just like kawhi did. and KD is an even more talented shooter / scorer than leonard.

Even if that ended up being true there is something to be said for some continuity. I don't think you can just plug KD and Kyrie into that situation and expect them to figure it all out at this point in the season, not over teams that have at least some time to jell( the Clippers, Rockets and Lakers obviously having major additions to their rosters). Plus, even if KD makes it back to 90% I highly doubt he does it right away. It make take him till next season to get back completely ( or 90%) to form. Just seems alot to expect under the circumstances.

This right here is a perfect example why the NBA and this generation in general is soft as dog shit, why not lace them up with Kyrie and see what you can do in this wild year? Maybe even win the east who knows. Big time soft if you ask me

He already did that last year. And his injuries got worst.

Never seen a lame superstar like KD before. Just check his interview with stax and matt barnes.

He's probably super out of shape. He's like, "There's no f-cking way I'm returning this year bro."

For what he did back four years ago, yes. Without a doubt.
