If I got stuck in an island. I'll probably bring some Army Swiss Knife, Flashlight, some lighter fluid, some canned of Spam and Corned beef, some anti mosquito lotion, and tenth. I think i can survive a few days drinking some coconut juice. Going to make a bamboo stick. And hunt some wild life boars, and also use it to get some fish in the ocean.

So you brought all these items because you planned to be stuck on the island? Pretty sure these situations aren't meant to be planned.

Also I'm pretty sure you can survive a while longer than a few days on coconuts alone.

yes i believe even most weak person can, unless they fall to injury/infection. humans are resilient at survival and our endurance is superior to almost all species, that's what makes us the best predators. you can live many days without nutrition as long as you have a water source (3 weeks)

Tom Hanks had the perfect situation in the movie Cast Away. I think when his plane crashed. He used some of the items that were available to him.

You mean warm blooded species. Lots of reptiles and amphibians can go months without eating and not break a sweat.

It's still a very interesting statement. I'm going to check it out when I have time.

I agree. I don't blame Tom Hanks for talking to his volleyball. Wilson helped him psychologically surviving the island.

Ted talk has a very good seminar on it

as land species we are not the fastest, nor the strongest, but we are the kings of endurance on Earth. our superior tracking skills and the ability to carry body water gives us the advantage to hunt prey for weeks without food, which most mammals cannot. our respiratory systems have evolved for it, it's also one of the reasons we have long lifespans

I'd much rather be stranded on a island than be stranded in desolate cold mountains

Remember that plane crash in the Andes with Rugby players that survived by eating the corpses of the victims?

lol? First of all, "If I got stuck in an island" isn't a sentence. Second if you are stuck there out of nowhere why would you have every survival item you would want, dumb shit? If you are the example of the average intelligence of your country I can see why it's a ****ing shit hole. I'm honestly surprised you figured out the "magic" of fire.
