Dray puts up 32/15/9 on 172 ORTG
Maybe a GOAT game 7 in the Finals ever. or just any game in the Finals for that matter.
Curry and Klay put up points in the teens on ~70 ORTG which is all time bad.
If they would've just played... crappy. The dubs would've won. It took all time bad from both to barely lose.

Not even a top 3 performance in the series.
They are the biggest chokers in finals history

I feel like Dray was letting all the pent up energy out in that game 7 from being suspended in game 5, and game 6 being over after the first quarter.
He just blew up for one of the best Finals games ever.
All splash bros had to do was hit like 1 or 2 more shots but they couldn't do it.

The Cavs threw everything plus the kitchen sink at Curry and he was swamped, Klay and Barnes choked, and Dray balled out.
They squandered the hca to matthew dellavedova

It was one of them grind it out games. Draymond let them down getting his ass baited into suspension :lol should have been over in 5 but the NBA was not gonna let him get away with his shenanigans in the Finals like he did in the conference finals.

we dont want to derail the thread but.....
everybody knows it is Lebron who shouldve been suspended for starting a fight.

Even still... the splash bros shouldve closed it out given how Dray balled out in game 7.

That is unbelievable that they suspended him for this.
Sucks for LBJ fans how they had to taint his championship like that.
When curry said this after the warriors went 2-1, things changed after the last game they've won before losing three-straight en route to blowing a 3-1 lead.

there's not much excuse for chef.
Yea, Cleveland threw the kitchen sink at him and gave barnes and dray WIDE open shots.
Barnes was all time bad too... even worse since his shit was wide open. He was on some peja airball shit all series long.
But all Chef had to do was convert like 2 more shots and they win. Ditto Klay.
They were so clutch in the WCF's coming from behind it's unfathomable they could go so cold when ahead.

You'll obviously never concede anything bad about Curry, but he absolutely choked down the stretch of Game 7

He legitimately could not have played any worse

Meh.
Boi, don't forget that curry also allowed irving to score 41 points in game 5, which became the ultimate catalyst for the cavs' major turnaround and comeback in that epic series.

You clearly didnt watch that game or the series in general mate.
Klay was the primary defender on kyrie. They also lost Bogut and Dray in that game, removing two of the best shotblockers and defenders in the NBA.
I'm going to have to ask you to exit this thread if you're coming at us with such ignorant nonsense.

It’s all about momentum. When Dray gets suspended at home for the close out slam dunk game...Now all of a sudden the pressure gets flipped, Cleveland still has everything to gain, nothing to lose going into a game six at home. Dray is back but he is scared after getting the retroactive bullshit suspension in the previous game. He’s noticeably not giving it his normal all in fear of being kicked out of the series. All things considered this is a heavy advantage game for the Cavaliers which they win. Now it’s game 7, Cavs are hot winning the last two and have a chance to make history. Pressure rises for golden state as Harrison Barnes begins one of the most epic collapses ever. Cleveland is still in their nothing to lose everything to gain, playing with house money mindset. At that point momentum and advantage is all Cleveland.
Basically the bogus game 5 suspension of Draymond flipped the series on its head and the Cavaliers made the best of it. I think that Adam Silver didn’t intend for the outcome, he was only trying to make a series out of it and squeeze out a few more games. He didn’t foresee how drastically the game 5 suspension would change the series and LeBron subsequently got a freebie.

true... i feel like most people understand perfectly well the momentum trail.
game 5 half the team out Cav's win --> game 6 at home and curry in foul trouble Cav's win --> dubs under huge pressure not to choke Cav's win.
The suspension was the catalyst... the butterfly effect... but with LBJ choking in game 7 they still shouldve been able to close it.
He went 9-24. And Dray was HIS man on defense.

That was probably a case of Cleveland saying, "Let's focus on Steph and Klay and see if Draymond can beat us."
You clearly didnt watch that game or the series in general mate.

Tbh, i didn't watch most of the games in live because i was so afraid to see the warriors win that title but hey, regardless of who was irving's defender for most of the time, it doesn't matter now since the warriors lost. If it was klay defending him, then he still allowed him to score over 40 points in game 5.

You're just clearly butthurt and bitter because they never won at all that year.
Get over it, pal.

The Warriors were up 3-1. LeFreittrain wasn't stopping anything. Then the suspension happened. Tide turns pretty clearly from that moment on. If you want an accurate statement the league stopped them.

More selective memory. Curry was about to get the momentum right back by stripping the ball from James 7 seconds later but the refs decided to call a foul on Curry and foul him out of the game instead. Funny how losing your best player can take momentum out of a team's sails.
