This is coming from a man who watched Libron all his life and was 2 years old when MJ won his 6th ring

'The Last Dance' was my first real look into Michael Jordan's greatness, and it's shifted my perspective on the GOAT debate (https://www.insider.com/the-last-dance-shifted-stance-jordan-lebron-goat-debate-2020-5)

"there is no heir apparent to Jordan's legacy. His greatness is irreplicable, plain and simple, and LeBron will never be what Jordan was."

Why we always winning? :hammertime:

So since he wasn't alive when Jordan was doing his thing, he doesn't know that The Last Dance is propaganda. The documentary was made for idiots like him.

I was alive when Jordan did his thing. I was a Michael Jordan fan. I watched everything he did from 1988 through 1998 and even his years on the Wizards, and I can say without question that LeBron James is the superior basketball player, and it is not close.

It’s been over since 2011. It’s a wrap. I used to be a fan of LeBron before he colluded with 2 of the top 4 PER in the league. Then on top of that he got his butt kicked and lost in the Finals while being outscored by Jason Terry. That is despicable.

3 Reasons lebron is nowhere near goat:

1) he formed a super-team in a conference that weak teams were routinely winning.. 01' Iverson won with a weak cast, along with 09' Dwight, 07' Lebron, and 02/03 Kidd, yet lebron formed a super-team to ensure Finals runs, aka manufactured resume..

2) He lost as the favorite in 09/10 and failed to win the weak conference - he ceded the easy run to dwight, which caused him to form super-teams (aka cheat)

3) he had the goat choke in 2011.. and record losses with super-teams in 14' and 17'... and sweeps in 07' and 18' with poor play, low usage, and numerous lost leads in 4th (chokes)

Five Reasons why LeBron is the G.O.A.T.

#1) 6,911

He has scored more playoff points than any player in playoff history despite equal or even fewer playoff appearances. This was accomplished because of his sheer determination to persevere round after round, deeper into the playoffs where competition can become even tougher and the stakes are higher.

#2) 10

He has made more game-winning buzzer beater shots than anyone in playoff history despite equal or even fewer playoff appearances. This was accomplished because of his clutch ability to rise up when the pressure mounts.

#3) 3-1

His NBA Finals heroics in 2016 capped off the greatest stretch of basketball the world has ever seen.

#4) 42.5

His Game 6, 2016 NBA Finals game score of 42.5 is the literal best Finals game ever played. This is how he was able to mount a comeback against the record-setting 73 win Warriors.

#5) Leading ALL in ALL

I could go on, but you get the picture.

So someone who didn't even watch MJ play thought Lebron was the GOAT but after seeing a propaganda piece on MJ has decided that MJ's the GOAT.

What other insightful takes does this man have?

Exactly. The propaganda will sway the more naive parts of the basketball fan population. With others it will give MJ a short-term boost that will fade.

Imagine if a political candidate was given wall to wall fawning coverage in every media outlet for 5-6 weeks. Don't you think his/her poll numbers would skyrocket?
