Who thinks this is true? I hear Durant is a better player than Curry and that Kyrie outplayed Curry in the finals. The 2020 Nets record is far better than the 2020 record for the Warriors with the Nets nearly certain to make the 2020 playoffs. The Nets also play in the East so they should have a better record next year. This is a slam dunk call, an open and shut case is it not? Everyone here betting on this?

I have no idea as to why it happened, but I'm glad the comments you refer to have gotten to you so much.

I'm just checking the logic. Who knows maybe there is an opportunity to make money here.

To be quite honest, I'm not too sure you could handle that. I mean, you already have your hands full trying to find an iconic Curry playoff moment.

Wouldn't bet on it with Irving constantly getting injured and KD returning from his achilles injury, I think the Warriors will have the better RS record because their core is so used to playing with eachother and will likely be healthier, and they could end up lucking into a great young player in the draft or make moves to further improve their roster with the picks they have. Nets have a long way to go right now in terms of finding the right coach/system for KD & Kyrie. They should have a better offense though. LeVert got healthy and had a great stretch towards the end of the season, that Nets team has more talent when healthy.

AI&Melo 2.0?
Hooray! No playoff-bound warriors for this year since 2012. :applause:

That isn’t at all how basketball works. 88 Jordan and Oakley are a better tandem than 88 Nique and Rivers doesn’t mean Jordan’s team won more games. Webber and Peja vs Shaq and Kobe is no contest. Doesn’t mean they always win more regular season games. 03 Shaq and Kobe were still a better duo than 03 Duncan and Parker just off the Parker/Kobe matchup. How that go? Hell Giannis and Middleton vs KD and Kyrie in a vacuum might be the lesser duo. Won’t win less games. You play roster vs roster with a great many factors added onto that....not 2 on 2.

If the Warriors can sign Marc Gasol and flip Andrew Wiggins for otto porter or gordon hayward. The warriors will infact be better than even the mighty nets fully healthy
and you can take that to the bank and stephonit

the nets have more talent outside durant and kyrie then the dubs do outside chef and klay.

Where are the people worrying about how stacked the Nets are? Why aren't people more hyped about this team's prospects next season?

I wouldn't. Kd used to be bettet than steph but hes coming off of the worst injury an nba player can suffer and he'll be 32 at that. Plus theres no guarantee him and kyrie will mesh and i dought they will tbh. We already know the warriors mesh and they're gonna be healthy and out to prove a point. I coukd easily see warriors getting 62-67 games next season. The nets on the other hand will probably be somewhere in the mid to high 50's

We gotta see how KD and Kyrie play together
You're right, Kyrie outplayed Steph in the 2016 finals, but Steph is the better player.
KD might be the most talented player between the two teams, but we need to see him get over the hump
The Nets have an interesting situation, Kyrie and KD are iso scorers, it's going to be a your-turn-my-turn deal
With the Warrios they have chemistry between the big 3, for now I'll say the Warriors are the better team, but the Nets have more talent

Where's the conviction? Where's the confidence? Why so much backtracking? Why aren't the Nets favorites in 2021?

This is a very odd question, 1 we don’t know how any teams rosters will shape up to be, what if the warriors do some crazy shit like land the number 1 pick and trade it for Deandre Ayton or something 2. We don’t know how Durant and Kyrie will be together, don’t forget Kyrie has been somewhat mentally unstable the last few years, he might not get along with Durant once he sees Durant start out shining him or someshit

1. That can be said for any team. We don't know what the Warriors are going to do. We don't know what the Nets are going to do. But we do have enough to go on to make an informed guess.
2. You're saying intangibles matter? I thought people here were simply saying what players are capable of one-on-one is what matters. Just throw the talent together and the high rankings will follow.
