We are now down to 32 related Covid deaths for the day, the lowest since the lockdown. Hospitalizations at just over 1,500 are the lowest since March 20th. We have gone from worst infection rate in the country to the lowest. :applause:

This couldn't have been done without the unyielding leadership of Governor Andrew Cuomo, whose work during the pandemic has been nothing short of inspirational. A big hand also goes out to fellow New York posters patty chew and DocP for doing their part and staunchly refusing to go outside at any point during these turbulent times. It's that kind of determination that has the nation's greatest city on the verge of an all-time great bounce back.

That's not always true. In Canada, specifically Toronto, testing is at an all time high, cases are dropping.

Testing -> vastly increased to all-time high -> yet % positives have vastly decreased.

Covid hospital census has vastly decreased (though, we're now counting all COVID+ patients as COVID hospitalizations even if they went for another reason, inflating the numbers)

Asymptomatic people don't get tested though, so that shouldnt even affect test #s or new cases. If you don't have symptoms, you wont voluntarily go stick a huge q-tip up your nose.

While I have been busy crying, mental midgets like yourself are applauding Cuomos handling of the virus... completely ignorant to the fact that his decision to force nursing homes to take patients who had tested positive for covid resulted in ~5k deaths (Of course, those ~5k deaths can only be blamed on covid if you are stupid enough to believe that any dead body with a positive covid test (or suspected of having covid) is a covid death...which you are)
