View Full Version : Does Stephen Curry have a signature move?

The only patented Stephen Curry move is to call for a pick to switch on a big or run through multiple screens. he doesn't really have an iconic moveset like most superstars. he was made to be a spot up shooter. mid range- whack. post up- whack. defense- whack. very 1 dimensional player. if his circus shots aren't falling, he's not doing much for your squad and quite a liability
His go to move is to switch on a big or run through multiple screens.

His off ball gravity is worth more than anything else in the entire nba today. You will literally get benched or end up having a fist fight with your team mates if you keep leaving him wide open for 3.

A sniper is worth its weight in gold in the NBA.Its only like 8 in the entire nba

YOU CANNOT LEAVE HIM OPEN WITHIN 30 FEET OF THE RIM AT ALL.....UNDER ANY SCENARIO....NO MATTER HOW BAD HE IS PLAYING....NO MATTER HOW MUCH ANY OF HIS OTHER TEAMMATES ARE GOING OFF....YOU CANNOT LEAVE HIM!....let that sink in

he's not guarded any different than rip hamilton nor kyle korver, no 3pt specialist can be left unguarded. being a decoy is not a signature move

non defensive players like kyrie irving and kyle lowry didn't break a sweat guarding stephen curry in the finals, other than chasing him around screens Bogut and Draymond. on the other hand stephen curry camps in the corner guarding iman shumpert and fred van vleet on defense while klay defends kyrie and lowry

Curry 2019 vs Lowry in the Finals

Curry 30/5/6
Kyle 16/4/7

Curry vs Dame 2019 Conference Finals
Curry 36/8/7
Dame 22/4/8

Outside of Kyrie these other point guards in the NBA routinely get shit on by Steph every single series.Like it aint even f**king close.Kyrie is the only one even in the ball park with him....kyle lowry.....r u fking kidding me. and i like kyle lowry

Curry camps in the corner.....ITS A TEAM GAME.Why would he guard kyrie when there is a better defender on his team....smh why did i even respond to this thread

enjoy hating curry.peace

in china curry is known as "sky ****er"

His signature move is his touch the sky 35 foot rainbow.

Come up in the spot looking extra fly.

people used to always try to get their feet as close to the line as possible but chef broke that paradigm.

"nobody sees more double teams" Ofcourse not, he panics and causes turnovers easily when trapped and physicality picks up. Can't do that against good playmakers who can see over defenders

10 minutes of getting locked up by single coverage undrafted G-leaguer

not a single double team in sight, good old man-on-man lockdown by Matthew Dellavedova. people confuse the term double teamed with seeing multiple defenders, teams throw different defenders on Stephen Curry to easily rattle him. not double teamed at all, just different looks

Yup

Just your typical montage of Finals Curry getting clamped up to single coverage role players

Notice how turnover prone he gets when trapped

man the alt army is out in full force.

:lol

some of the other chef threads you made had at least some merit to them.

this thread was just a faceplant though. the man has a shot and move that literally nobody ever used with any type of regularity in the HISTORY of the game.

That's not even a move.

Saying its not a move because its a shot? Was kareem's skyhook not a move?

a million people have done chase down blocks dude.

the hilarious irony for you is that Lebron doesnt have a signature move at all. he's got a basic bitch skillset.

stiff arm to the rim. :lol

Curry is BY FAR the best shooter ever. From DEEP, off the dribble, off the catch, without his feet set, fading to one side, his accuracy, shot speed, off one foot, off ball movement, the lack of time he holds the ball before shooting, etc. He’s 10 levels above everyone else.
