View Full Version : Exchange LBJ finals losses for first-round MJ losses, LBJ still GOAT

Let's imagine for a second that LBJ wasn't as dominant and instead of making 9 finals he only made three. We'll say the other six years he had first-round losses like Jordan's 1-9 blunder. Even if you narrow down LeBron's career into 3 years does anyone have an argument over him? Let's just look at 2012, 2013, and 2016. Just three years of this man's career. Does anyone even have a case over those three years? Will forget all the other records he set n the six other finals to make it mote fair. We will really get him down to Jordan status with a bunch of first round exits instead, we'll even say that he went1-9 like him too. Is anyone touching Bron's modern era achievement resume? I don't think so.

Even if you downgrade LeBron's achievements from finals losses to Jordan first-round losses, even in a downgrade, LBJ still reign supreme as the greatest to ever lace them up.

Congratulations, King James.

What about Jordan's first round loss v. Lebron's playoffs miss?

If you're talking about finals losses, lbj has lost a total of 31 games from all the 9 finals he had in which 6 of them were defeat.

Jordan is still, BY FAR, the consensus GOAT. It’s not even remotely close, sorry bud.

Bran played far more games in his career for someone his age but while he's had several great feats in it, you stans can't deny that he's a perennial loser in the finals.

He's actually a perennial winner. In fact no one has won better than him. As stated above, you could literally trade out all of his finals achievement losses for Jordan first-round losses, a clear downgrade, and LBJ would still have the best 3 Championship run in NBA history.

You have been challenged. I challenge you to find me a better three Championship run by one player.

Too retarded to read? I was only talking about his infamous 3-6 record in the finals, not anything else, slick.

He also let golden state won 3 finals and san antonio 2, which is unbelievable.

Actually LeBron is a perennial winner. In fact no one has won better than him. As stated before, you could literally trade out all of his finals achievement losses for weaker Jordan first-round losses, a clear downgrade, and LBJ would still have the best 3 Championship run in NBA history. He is the greatest winner in NBA history. You have been challenged.

I challenge you to find me a better three Championship run by one player. There is no greater winner than LeBron. Find me ANYONE with three better rings.

So you admit even when down grading LeBron's Finals losses to MJ 1st round losses (1-9) he still has the better championship career? Does any player have better championship pedigree than LeBron?

While MJ had 2 'three championship runs', Lebron never had one. It's not a 'run' when there are 3 years between championships. He had a two year championship run. Then he won another championship 3 years later.

As for two championship runs, many were "better" than Lebron's 2012/2013. Hakeem for sure, right off the top.

Since you are challenging the greatest champion in NBA history (LBJ) about his winning, it should be easy to find other players that have won at least equal amounts correct?

I asked you to list players that had three championships better, and you could only muster up two for a couple of players. Which definitely proves my point. Not to mention that even when you did only mentioned two instead of three thery aren't even Greater Performances than LJ
BJ. For example, 1986 Larry Bird was out scored by his own teammate, and his opposition's number 2 option was Rodney McCray. Let that sink in.

1980 Magic Johnson wasn't even technically the finals MVP, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was hurt for the final game. Kareem was playing at a number one level option for the entire series. I give credit for Magic having a great game 6 to win it all, but Kareem was the finals MVP that series if you know the backstory.

Shaq had some impressive numbers in the finals but he faced off against a bunch of tomato cans in the finals. What was his best finals opponent?

Jordans first and legit ring is 1993 against the Suns. That's close to LeBron Level tier Championship. But, that's his only one. LeBron James has three of those. So again I think you are proving my point.

What about the two bronze medals? Lebron embarrassed the USA more than Donald Trump has and that is saying something.

I challenge you to post a player with three better rings than LeBron. You can't. Why? Because LeBron James is comfortably the greatest champion in league history. Period.

The starkest example of context regarding conference parity comes from 2007.

The Cavs made the Finals in the East, but if they had been in the West, with their 50 win total, they would've been the 6 seed.

This means that in... the FIRST ****ing round... they would've faced the spurs that ultimately swept them.

 ether

Plus he is a liar because the 51-win Jazz were the 4th seed in the West. So 52 win Cavs would be...4th seed. Meaning ,they would play the 5th seed which would be...the Utah Jazz :lol (or Rockets, who also won 52). This Tpols guy is funny.
