Who is denying the BLM movement is about Black people though? Are Black people not allowed to have a movement? There’s legitimate criticisms to be had about Shaun King, to be sure, but I’m not seeing what’s wrong with the actual movement? It’s certainly more intelligent to say what Davis did if you’re trying to unite the working classes, but I don’t think BLM main goal is for the working class to overthrow the ruling class, and that was Davis’ ultimate goal. BLM is not a Communist organization. Davis was literally a Communist until 1991.

It’s hilarious how the conservatives on here screech about the liberals demonizing anyone with different political views, but when faced with the words of Angela Davis, they immediately attack her for her political beliefs as if that invalidates what she is saying. Davis is apparently a bad person for being a Marxist (she left the Communist Party in 1991 btw), but you all fly into a rage when anyone insinuates being a republican makes you a bad person. The lack of self awareness is mind boggling. None of you are able to actually disagree with what Davis is saying, because you all have made the same arguments yourselves (that the elites use race to divide us). The raw revenue matters significantly(even more than the ratio and you're glossing over that). Our tax rate is below the majority of first world countries
