Draymond has an agenda here. The Bulls dynasty is compared to the Warriors dynasty nonstop. If he can reconcile with the idea that Lebron is the GOAT, he basically can claim his TEAM is the best ever because they beat Lebron multiple times.

Draymond and LeBron are going to end up playing together at some point. Calling it.

They've spent the last year or so praising eachother in the press.

Klutch will figure it out.

Players in the league know that what LeBron has done is impossible for anyone else to accomplish. Back-to-back MVP on two different teams. 4x Finalist on two different teams. Championships on two different teams. 9x finalist. 8x consecutive finalist. This is absolutely impossible stuff. Only an agenda-addled critic of LeBron would say something negative about his resume.

Most definitely not flawless lol.

But he certainly does have a GOAT level resume no doubt. Still weaker than Kareem's and MJ's but he's in the convo.

Why still the need to mention the latter? Is it because of "insecurity"? 🤔

Because he's another GOAT level candidate? I forgot to mention Bill Rusell as well but it's hard to compare the resume of a dude who played over 40 years ago so I just used the most modern NBA GOAT's.

This. I love LeBron, but there's clearly flaws in his resume. Still one of the GOATs.

Flawless? LOL.

MJ actually has a flawless resume (in the most realistic possible way) since he was the best player in every single playoff series he every played and won a bunch of rings/finals mvps. No one was better than him in the playoffs regardless of winning/losing.

This could be right. Draymond is paranoid about GS's place in history and jealous of all other past dynasties. Lebron is top 5, so he's in the conversation. But Draymond has ulterior motivations, both to prop up GS and to maybe join the Lakers down the road. After Green's abysmal season as "the Man" he knows his stock in GS is likely tanking.

His resume is flawless, if you overlook the 6 Finals losses & losing 3 straight years with HCA from 09-11.

Using that logic, Isiah, Laimbeer and others have an incentive to prop up MJ--especially since they were the only team to consistently beat the Bulls when the Bulls were in contention (unlike the Celtics). Yet they were called "salty" (about winning? :lol )by half the internet for their comments. Isiah also would have an incentive to elevate Magic and Bird too, but he has Kareem as GOAT (which does nothing for any alleged agenda).

Human beings with similar motivations do not necessarily react the same way. What Clippersfan stated is plausible, but no one will ever know for sure.

We will all pass away before seeing another player do what LeBron has done as far as carrying his weak teams to 8 consecutive finals.

8 consecutive! In the modern era! That's unimaginable.

You laugh now. But that's what Draymomd was talking about - the amount of good LeBron has done off the court for disadvantaged kids & the amount of activism and awareness he brings to issues, plus all of his non-basketball business success.

Also because he's just generally a really good, high character dude with world class habits.

That's partly why Dray said he should think about running for president.

The only blemish on his record is The Decision which is nothing. Republicans aren't going to be able to do much with that.
