Skiles played the worst defense(ever...though a couple recent teams are in the same area by the numbers most of you use). He also had id say the most "true" assists. Id say about 28 of his were indisputable.

Stockton had the best total game id say.

Rondo doing Rondo things. Not scoring because he would rather stack assists. I chose that game instead of the one vs the Knicks just so I didnt have to watch footage of him give Pierce the ball 40 feet from the basket to drive....go behind the back....hop step...pump fake...then still get an assist. Great game though.

Back when Magic was going strong he briefly made assist numbers something to heavily report but it went back to scoring a bit later(not that it ever truly went away). We all know when someone sets the season high in scoring. Assists? Not so much. It will get mentioned on sportscenter but only really covered if its a Lebron type that does it. Gotta already be a star. But if a middling player has 55 its getting covered a good bit. Just the way its covered...probably reflecting fan interest. But I do love the huge assist games....even if I find myself doing the hater thing and pointing out those that shouldnt count. I still **** with them on a basic level.

Stocktons video is unavailable for me, but theres something to be said for dishing out 25+ assists while also dropping 20. Those are massive overall contributions to the offense.
