The earths permafrost is melting. Only god knows what kind of viruses will come from it in the coming years, because it will come some more, and already has.

Imagine some crazy virus from the dinosaur age. We have no connection to the immunity from it. And the viruses use its descendants adaptations to be even more effective when it comes back to the surface. It’s like if Neanderthals woke up like the War of the Worlds aliens are started building guns to challenge us.
And then there are organisms that are evolving to be more and more viable in temperatures humans thrive in.

And this article from 2014 shows climate change is why animal —->human diseases are becoming so prevalent. Which essentially explains COVID-19.

The factors that led us to this are just getting worse. I don’t see why this can’t happen again in our lifetime, or even in this decade.
