Here we sit as a community on this 27th day in June of 2020. Nearly 4 years later, and the tears that stream from the 2016 triumph still pour to this day. Like a waterfall that will not stop gushing.

When will the tear gushing stop?

Why didn't you include Game 3, 6, and 7? I can do it for you. I think you're going to get yourself into trouble because you didn't think it through but here we are

GSW - CLE
90 to 120 (CLE win by 30)
101 to 115 (CLE win by 14)
89 to 93 (CLE win by 4)

In the 3 games where Draymond played, CLE won by an average of 16
In the 1 game where Draymond didn't play, CLE won by 15

Uh-oh, what have you done? Cleveland's margin of victory w/ Draymond playing was 16 (Game 3, 6, 7) but Cleveland's margin of Victory w/o Draymond playing was only 15 (Game 5).

Did Draymond's suspension help Golden State?

Can you do 2017 before the injury?
2018 before the overturn?
2018 before the injury?
2002 before the refs?
2010 before the refs?
2009 before the injury (KG)?

I didn't have to include those games because they exclude the parameters that we're laid out in the OP.

it was an ultimate ass whooping.

Cavaliers actually won by more with Draymond in the lineup, as discovered below.

The Cavaliers won 4 games in the 2016 Finals to win the chip. Games 3, 5, 6, and 7. The Draymond suspension myth is proven wrong for many reasons, one being that the Cavaliers actually won by a greater margin in the 3 games he did play, as opposed to the one game he did not play in. Crushing, revealing information below:

Games where Draymond did play and Cavs win
Game 3: 90 to 120 (CLE win by 30)
Game 6: 101 to 115 (CLE win by 14)
Game 7: 89 to 93 (CLE win by 4)
Average margin of victory = 16

Games where Draymond did not play and Cavs win
Game 5: 97 to 112 (CLE win by 15)
Average margin of victory = 15

In the 3 games where Draymond played, CLE won by an average of 16
In the 1 game where Draymond didn't play, CLE won by 15

Cleveland's margin of victory w/ Draymond playing was 16 (Game 3, 6, 7) but Cleveland's margin of Victory w/o Draymond playing was only 15 (Game 5).

that's the funniest part.

Game 3, without Kevin Love, Cav's win 120 to 90.

Love was so diminished as a talent, an old RJ, who I was a big fan of on the Nets, was better in his place.

when did Klay's comments occur

if they occurred after game 4, then lebron is a weak, passive group-thinker - essentially going along with the group-think that the warriors were better until Klay made him mad... WEAK... he played like dogshit until the comments.. literally mailed it in until the comnents... #notawinner

No that was MJ. A weak, passive, emotional, group thinker. LeDong on the other hand, was working hard behind the scenes to market the Warriors to the public. He just caught Klay being ungrateful and decided to teach him and his boys a lesson in humility. Also reminding everyone who really runs things in this world.

It's true. LeBron's greatest script yet was the "Warriors are the GOAT Dynasty". Of course, he planned for them to win in 2016 so the 96 Bulls would become obsolete, but then Klay stupidly dared to mock the King, and he had to teach him a little respect.

Most impactful chip ever. The tears will live forever.

The only chip that still incites tear gushing years later.

I will bump this thread in 10 more years and people will still be talking about LeDong leading all players in all stats against a 73-win team with his back against the wall down 3 games to 1, meaning he needs to win all three games in a row, with 2 on the road and with the Warriors never losing 2 in a row for 100 games in 2016 season and post season.

Too bad setting a record for most wins in the regular season doesn't easily equate to winning a ring already.

The warriors just had to learn that the hard way and so do their immature bandwagon fans.

Just makes it even more embarrassing for the Warriors and their ultimate choke. How do you beat down a team like this during a season where they never even lost b2b games, then lose THREE STRAIGHT GAMES (two being at home)?!

There could only be one way to do this. You would have to perform at the highest level in Finals history to pull that off. I'm talking the best ever. Like I'm saying include every single basketball game ever played by every player in the NBA Finals ever, and then have the best game out of all of them. Oh wait a damn minute, LeBron did that!

https://i.ibb.co/2n8VdMZ/finals-best-5.png

So you ask, 'how do you lose three straight games (two being at home)?!'

Your opponent would need a +40.0 Finals Game Score. But that's only happened three times ever, twice by the same guy. But that's a start.

it's the only time he ever reacted to a slight like a man, like Jordan would, aka revenge

any other time, he starts crying and getting personal like when Barkley knocked him for teaming up all the time . "b-b-but you spit on a kid! (snivel)... that's how he normally reacts

I think he reacted appropriately in 16' because of who he was facing - weaklings like Curry and Klay who get hurt trying to dunk.. dray's suspension was perfect in game 5, and Kyrie's 40 in Game 6 blunted dray's return.. then Kyrie closed it out while lebron was frigid and choking in game 7

You fellas didn't read the title.

BEFORE the suspension. And injury to bogut.

That's their whole frontcourt.

Ezeli and no speights were awful. And that's been proven since.

In game 7 Ezeli played 10 minutes and racked up 1 rebound, 1 assist, 2 fouls, and a -9 +/-

If he played a full game he would have been hovering around -30 +/- :lol

It was his last NBA game of his life. The Warriors obviously didn’t renew and no other teams were interested. His career ended with that game at age 26.

And these guys gonna try to say Andrew Bogut getting his knee taken out on a dirty move from JR had no effect on the series. :lol
