Some version of it at least. Many of you like to pretend the regular seasons doesn’t even exist so I suppose you will finally get to evaluate him. You expecting more heroic shit along these lines:

Probably something In between. Like most ball dominant guys in this era not named lebron he'll probably struggle more in the more physical playoffs compared to the regular season. Struggling is relative of course. He'll still put up all star numbers.

It's going to be tough depending on the matchup. The Clippers will have a lot to throw at him.

You ever notice how much wrist flick is in Luka's shots? He's about as good as it gets in terms of getting arc/rotation/forward force on his shots purely from that flick and his base. He's got so much touch.

I feel that all NBA players choke when they are young in the playoffs and then get labeled chokers. It's part of growing up. Kobe and Dirk did it. With that said, the are very few rookies every that has done what Luka has done before entering the NBA if any at his age. If he chokes now, it won't be a static choke that will follow him, it will just be a part of the learning curve.

I think the only player in recent times that stepped up in the playoffs as a leader in his first playoffs and made past the first round was Jokic.

Clippers would beat them in 5 too good defensively and Kawhi's experience over Luka.

I can see mavs beating nuggets in an upset and maybe even 2nd round upset over Rockets.

So it really all depends on what their playoff road is. Luka will one day be the GOAT point guard in my opinion.

If the Mavs take more than one game off the Clips it probably means Luka played out of his mind. Kawhi is essentially the best possible player to put on him.

It will be interesting to see how the Clips guard Porzingis, or if they try to just run him off the court.

he's a rookie so he doesnt really have anything to lose... most rookies are average in the playoffs.

I think he's rather exceptional. He will have to move back to SG or to SF eventually. He's a much more natural off-ball player than LeBron, for example.

And he's less ridiculous with the ball than Westbrook. I think he'll be a little capped right now, but I do believe he's too good to not get something done.

Could definitely be wrong of course. Would be really cool to watch him go against Kawhi and George. I think Porzingis will be big.

Should be good. I think he'll play well.

Wouid be nice if Zion also got postseason experience.

Somewhat off-topic, but maybe you'll hear these players trash talk more too. No crowd to drown the stuff you hear live at games.

I think he's going to end up as the nominal 4 in a lot of small lineups in his career, similar to LeBron or Durant.
