And you know that the '18 Cavs weren't as good as the '22 Lakers, and Bronie found a way to lead them to the lottery. :lol
Are you trying to make a jab at someone by saying that Bron was better in 2018 than he is now?

That is very debatable. Westrbook was one of the worst players in the NBA last year getting significant minutes and both AD & LeBron dealt with injuries.

On paper the '22 Lakers were better than the '18 Cavs. You can't deny that, because they were the preseason favorites to win the West.
As far as the Nets go, they underachieved almost as bad as the Lakers, but Kyrie had sat out nearly the entire season, and Harden and Durant both dealt with injuries too.
My comparison stands just as much as yours does.

Too bad games aren't played on paper.
The 2005 Lakers were one of the favorites to win it all right after they traded Shaq as well, but once you saw them play, they were obviously not even close to championship level.

That's my point. The '22 Nets were good ON PAPER. You brought them up as part of your argument lol.

They obviously weren't as good as people thought they were gonna be, but to get SWEPT despite having a healthy KD & Kyrie in their prime is embarrassing.

Yeah, the Nets had an embarrassing season. But you bring it up to try to make Lebron look good....when Lebron had an even MORE embarrassing season.

Individually, he had the greatest season ever for a 37 year old when he was healthy or top 2-3 ever the VERY least, far from embarrassing. Team production , it was embarrassing, the pieces just didn't fit, alot of that had to do with Westbrook and the lack of shooters on the team and injuries.

Individually, KD was out there shooting 39% and averaging 5 turnovers a game vs the Celtics. :oldlol:

When he wins, Lebron gets all the credit. And when he loses, it's all his teammates' fault.
I hate to break it to you, but I'm thinking that you're
a Bronie.

Yeah, KD completely sucked in that series. Major choke job.
Full Court can’t go 10 minutes without saying Bronie

True, but still for Durant to come back from Achilles and perform at this level is something. Kobe could not do it.

Imagine being so mentally frail that somebody talking about Jordan 20 years after he retires upsets you.

Dude missed the playoffs playing with another guy at his peak and another in his prime who won league mvp and the all time leader in triple doubles and a 3x DPOY. Was also 2nd in odds to win it all before the season started and missed the playoffs.

And yet won it all the year prior. He also missed a lot of games in the year they missed the playoffs, but still averaged 30 .
And the new thing has become to overrate Russ to make Lebron look bad.

No not really he couldn’t win with fans around. He has been out in round 1 as the favorite and missed the playoffs multiple times with a loaded team.
