Shaq played in the peak modern era for international basketball competition between the NBA and the rest of the world... '92 - '08 to be specific.
How come he never made a splash? Would his style work against rules with no defensive 3 seconds and heavy zone?
What do you think?

The team he was on was at the time called dream team two but the 94 team is forgotten because it wasn’t the olympics. That and Shaq, Coleman, and I think Larry Johnson making America look bad acting like asses. I think Don Nelson was the coach and he was openly embarrassed. Shaq ran wild but made fun of everyone and showed out along the way. Kemp May have been there too. They were just....out of line.

Just a bunch of guys running up scores, grabbing their nuts, and showing up the other teams. They were considered pretty immature.

In this respect, '94 was probably the most forgettable year ever. In the history of anything... ever.
Most people dont even know it happened.

I read/watched a lot of stuff about this team they seemed to have great chemistry based off the videos but apparently Joe Dumars had to sit out a game just to give more time for players bickering for minutes.

Was it really that bad? I didn't start watching basketball until literally a couple months later when the regular season started. SO I have no recollection of it and it doesn't get talked about much either.

That 1994 team, talk about bully ball. Their guards were super tough and all their frontcourt were huge, punishing dudes.

I assume he just means in regard to USA Basketball.
1994 was definitely a memorable sports year.
* World Cup comes to USA
* MLB goes on strike in the middle of the season
* Knicks get to the Finals, lose to Hakeem
* New York Rangers finally win Stanley Cup

Hi HBK
That guy isn’t HBK. That Axe is some Filipino guy with an extremely limited grasp on basketball and English all together. He can’t be him.

didnt have Dirk
the top players in the NBA didn't play in the 2004 olympics. i think USA got bored of winning, and cocky... our B team can beat you.
Kidd, Kobe, Garnet, Dirk, and Shaq all out. Only Duncan.

That last play in KBalds video is one of the top 3 plays I've ever seen in my life.
This guy was 7'2, 300+ moving like that. People go crazy over Zion at 6'6 280....... Shaq makes Zion look like kid.
