Rank these laker duos in order on who you rather have for 1 playoff run all at their peaks.

Jerry West & Wilt Chamberlain

Magic Johnson & Kareem

Shaq & Kobe

LeBron James & Anthony Davis

Shaq and Kobe 2001 > all those duos

I would go Magic and Kareem 2nd since they played closer to their peaks than West/Wilt and Bron/Davis. Magic and Kareem also proved they could win together. They proved they could win A LOT.

Shaq and Kobe have to be #1 given the fact that they won a 3 peat and didn't have the likes of James Worthy, Michael Cooper, Byron Scott, Norm Nixon, or Jamaal Wilkes on their roster. They had Robert Horry and Fisher was clutch sometimes, but I wouldn't consider their supporting cast "Showtime" by any stretch.

2001 Shaq and Kobe. They peaked the highest in terms of straight dominance and didn't have a Worthy level talent as a third option, or someone even on Byron Scott or Michael Cooper's level. The third leading playoff scorer was Derek Fisher.

At their peaks? That's pretty tough to say tbh, lol. Damn.

I don't want to admit it, but Kobe and Shaq working together was the best in history.
