View Full Version : Mario chalmers says wade was a better leader

l'll be honest this dosnt mean a whole lot but bron stans love putting shit like this on here when its about mj so i figured id do the same.

Looks like there may be some truth to the whole "lebron went to wade to learn how to be a champion" thing though. Not a big deal, everyone learns from someone whether its a parent, player or coach. Bron is no different.

And another one in coming :oldlol:

He doesn't offer any detail but interesting. I am not a Heat fan. What do teammates, coaches, etc. usually say about the leadership dynamic between LeBron, Wade, and Haslem?

Wade > libron

Wade was able to win chip w/out him asking for help.

Different guys respond to different kinds of motivation. Don't think Chalmers ever really got along with Bran so not too surprising to hear him say this. Wouldn't consider it a knock on Bran tho - think he's proven his ability to be a leader throughout his career.

Except lebron had several years and tons of resources to learn how to become a leader. Miami was not his team, lets not forget.

If a bunch of teammates come out saying the same it would have some weight but he appears to be an outlier.

LeBron does both of those things

And how many years was Wade a local leader? 06-10? We really didn‘t see him lead that much.

It was still Wade's team in 2011. Then shortly after the Finals in the off-season, Wade verbally handed James the keys to the Cadillac.

OP is easily one of the worst posters on this forum. Wade was the man for most of that phase and LeBron wasn't going to just stroll in a take over his friend's team all of a sudden. I would be surprised if Mario didn't say that.

This thread is absolutely pointless.

peak Wade from 05-11' to as simply better than lebron

Wade would've beaten lebron if they faced of with comparable casts during that time

Wade had Jordan-level clutch points in the 06 Finals (26 clutch points in the Finals) - lebron never did that

Wade 34.7 PPG

For comparison's sake, here is the other team:

Dirk 22.8
Terry 22.0
Howard 14.7

Dwyane Wade says LeBron James can never be greater than Michael Jordan (https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/dwyane-wade-says-lebron-james-can-never-be-greater-than-michael-jordan/)

Carmelo Anthony wasn’t comfortable with the question, but he acknowledges there is just one basketball GOAT — Michael Jordan (https://nypost.com/2020/05/29/carmelo-anthony-weighs-in-on-michael-jordan-lebron-james-goat-debate/)

Mike Malone: Killer Mentality Made Michael Jordan Better Than LeBron James (https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2887907-michael-malone-killer-mentality-made-michael-jordan-better-than-lebron-james)

Mario Chalmers And JR Smith Say Michael Jordan Is The GOAT (https://fadeawayworld.net/2020/05/05/mario-chalmers-and-jr-smith-say-michael-jordan-is-the-goat/)

Ray Allen still takes Michael Jordan over LeBron James as the greatest of all time (https://clutchpoints.com/nba-news-ray-allen-still-takes-michael-jordan-over-lebron-james-as-the-greatest-of-all-time/)

They knew how obsessed libron is to be the GOAT, but they knew he isn't the one. Libron failed to impressed these guys, he's supposed to get their vote even for being bias because he's a "GOOD" leader but again he isn't.

Plus the fact that we'll all knew who the GOAT really is.

That wouldnt have happened for Wade if he was drafted by Cleveland

The fact that LeBron took the Cleveland Cavaliers to 5 Finals - with their nondescript management and coaching - speaks for itself.

A great leader leads groups to great, unimaginable heights. Getting the most out of people who would otherwise struggle to perform at that level.

Consider not only his basketball teams but also the success of all of his businesses and charitable organizations. LeBron is an incredible leader in general, far surpassing the efforts of Dwayne Wade in nearly every facet of life.

Consider also that players and surrounding personalities follow him from team to team.

I believe he is a natural born leader.

You don't even realize that bran's had the benefit of playing in the eastern conference for most of the last decade, the said conference being considered as the weaker one (well according to many sports analysts, bball geeks and fans around the world) compared to the western conference? :lol

That's why it is not surprising anymore how he's made at least five straight finals but if his 8-straight finals appearances is your only basis here, well, he's not the only unique player ever to do that in the league. Just to remind ya.

And what about his businesses or charitable organizations? Well, we're only talking about his career here, dude. Not his entire life. My goodness. :oldlol:

LRMR, Springhill Entertainment, and Klutch are enormous success stories. As is the LeBron James Family Foundation.

Harvard Business studies LeBron's decisions, for example.

The success of LeBron's friends speaks to his leadership abilities - how he supported his friends and lifted them up instead of holding his success over them and keeping them buried underneath him.

So LeBron gets the most out of people not only in basketball, but in life in general.

He is so successful because he has world class habits and he spreads love. He attracts success everywhere he goes - in every facet of his life - because he is a great leader.

Didn’t realize in the NBA Finals teams are reduced to 3 man rosters.

If you go by the logic of % of team's points, Jordan had a higher % of the Bulls points in multiple finals then Wade did in 06.
