Insanely good on slow motion replay. Huge fan of defense and shotblocking and for Drexler to anticipate what was coming is mind blowing for me and just shows how good he really was.

buck Williams was a perennial all-defender

kersey, cliff robinson, and drexler were super-long, athletic defenders

a juggernaut of elite athletes

i was a huge fan of cliff robinson on the nets. He was the ultimate OG role player.

I´ve always said Drexler had one of the GOAT Finger Rolls. In the level of Dr. J and ofcourse George Gervin.

It is a shame he hurt his knee in 92' and was never the same after his surgery. He was a legit superstar up to that point.

What's your top 5 bounce passers list look like?

From what i saw probably Bird and Stockton where best bounce passers i´ve seen. Magic and a Isiah where also great at bounce passes. I don´t remember much after those but my favorite passer (in general not just bounce passes) was young Jason Kid in Dallas in the 90's. From today's game Lebron is a great bounce passer and you also have Chris Paul now (who probably will be underrated cause he never won a ring).

This is another insane finger roll by Drexler: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2dOAwGKWfqA

I also remember one had with the Rockets in the play-offs later in his career but i can't find it on youtube.

I don't know if all of them are neccessary like in the OP. Still that finger roll is a thing of beauty.

Regular people do not even come close to understanding the degree of difficulty on such a shot. Especially going at that speed.

I wonder why Clyde did that above. There was no shotblocking ( namely Hakeem) in the way. More of a 'because I can'. Crazy shot in any case.

Nice.

Now show some gifs of "Clyde the Glide" type dunks. The ones where he's coming in from the perimeter, off one foot and just gliding. Clyde was one of the smoothest athletes i've ever seen along with MJ, Wade, PG, etc.
