It would be interesting to know which song has sold the most copies when the original release and the sampled songs are combined. For example, Tom Tom Clubs "Genius of Love" did pretty well on the charts when the band released it. But the some of the songs that sampled it have also sold really well, and "Fantasy" was a monster hit.
