So both Curry AND Durant had two of the 5 biggest carry jobs in the same playoffs :lol List seems legit

It just means they both offensively carried the team and when they sat, they sucked. They had a very easy path in terms of the teams they played. So Curry and Durant are obviously not as impressive as the others on the list because
1) they rely on each other and that gives them the advantage over the others on the list
2) very easy path during playoffs and had more scrub time to drag the offense down while they sat.

rapm type stats are already questionable in the playoffs because of sample size, raw plus minus is even more so. Curry and Durant were great in 2017 but to put it in perspective, they both played 35mpg and warriors played 17 games in the playoffs that year so tht's maybe 220 minutes they sat out. Tht's not even 5 full games, ridiculously small time frame to look at. Most stars play like 40 mpg in the playoffs so could be even smaller of a sample.

it means they ran at a higher pace than their teammates. which generally requires teammates who don't turn the ball over in order to produce any success.
the real success story here is Duncan/Manu. where as when Duncan tapered the pace off, he had a rising star who could be on the receiving end. Instead of projecting volume.
Quite surprised to see scottie being included in this list

Pippen
I'm going to take a guess and say Jordan played with Rodman more ofton then Pippen did, so this dragged down the offensive rating of Jordan. Still a very impressive stat. Pippen also had the best on/off offensive and defensive numbers during the blazers 2000 run.

Yeah but Duncan was kind of embarrassingly bad in 2005 playoffs. Manu destroyed him in offensive on/off numbers and even defensively!

Curry on/off numbers were trash in 2015, so he made up for it in 2017.

Rodman didn't even reach 5 years with the bulls compared to pip's 11 straight years in the same team

are you retarded?
they cancel each other out.
its not a carry job if you have another player of the same impact

you should do on/off as a whole, not just offensive, has less meaning.
