Why would this surprise anyone?

Wasn't everyone thrilled that the Lakers kept Kuzma in the AD deal?

Only after he became the whipping boy in lebron-ball did people start to think he sucked (similar to Love, Bosh, and Jamison)

because that's what happens - people thought Love was a beast - but after lebron-ball, everyone thinks he sucks now

So this was just a reminder to brain-washed lebron fans that guys like Kuzma, Love, Bosh and Ingram were actually GOOD PLAYERS before lebron-ball ruined their personal ranking

"GOOD PLAYERS" don't make bad plays and have bad games on a consistent basis. Love could have done whatever he wanted this year but completely underachieved. Never seen anyone say he sucks. Ingram is a chucker, of course his stats are going to look better when he has a green light. He won't get anywhere being the man though. Your MJ vs LeBron obsession is lame as ****.

Kuzma might improve. He is very boneheaded though. Worthy was saying it taken himself 3 years to "figure it out". Just can't see Kuz doing so. Devin Booker light, with less athleticism and overall skill.

First time I hear anyone call Ingram a chucker, y'all were the same guys criticizing him for not being aggressive last season, now that he worked into becoming a great shooter, he's a chucker? 18 FGA with 6 3PA in 34 mpg is chucking now? He put in a lot of work to improve his shooting and the Pelicans have done a great job in finding open looks for him, he hardly dominates the ball offensively, but he's great at finding his spot and finding the open man. Lol @ saying a 6-8 guy who can do almost everything at a high level offensively won't get anywhere as a #1 option.

As far as Kuzma goes, he struggled a lot coming into the season due to being injured and missing the training camp and the first few weeks of the season, and now he's a 3rd/4th option when everyone's healthy. He always looks good when he's consistently given touches on the offensive end, it's the off-ball stuff that he needs to work on. He's not Jordan Clarkson like some of the posters have been saying on this site, he's actually found ways to contribute, even when not given touches on the offensive end.

I think the fact that Kuzma didnt get traded made him think his place was guaranteed so he became lazy

As for Love he was always overrated anyway

Kuzma has not had a good season this year.

Yes but according to Vogel, he has been dominating recently.

I prefer him doing so now instead of doing it at the beginning of the season and choking at the end (Harden style)

Nope.

Kuz is on the Lakers because he clicked so well with LeBron last year, whereas Ingram didnt.

Ingram was intimidated and indecisive whereas Kuz is fearless.

Kuz clicked well with LeBron this year, but he's adjusting to coming off the bench, so he has had ups and downs in his new role.

Love and Bosh were not good enough to win with as leaders. They can't lead teams. They can be good 3rd options on championship teams. Their winning potential (winning, not statistical) was fully realized with LeBron.

Bosh's reputation actually improved after he joined the Heat. He was thought of as soft and a poor defender, and by the time he won his 2nd ring he was seen as gritty and a very good pick and roll defender.

Love is basically who everyone thought he was - empty stats in Minnesota. But once he was used properly by LeBron he became a championship contributor - a winner.

LeBron optimizes his teammates and turns them into winners.

In other words, Bron looks at his teammates and says, "this is how someone like you needs to be used on a team in order for you to be a championship contributor and not just a fantasy stats guy that goes fishing every year."

Kuzma still playing for that contract, Lebron and Kuzma clicked probably because he's Carlos Boozer 2.0

LeBron and Kuz have always had chemistry.

LeBron always finds Kuzma. Last year he passed to Kuzma the most, iinm.

You know what they say - the ball finds energy - and Kuz keeps moving and cutting.

Kuz just instinctively knows when and where to cut when LeBron has the ball (Alex Caruso has a bit of that in him as well - he also plays nicely off LeBron).

BI just didn't do that. He'd pass the ball off and then stand around. He still does that in New Orleans.

You're too being optimistic about that scrub. We must see first how well he'll fare in the playoffs.
