In the 2009-10 era, Kobe was the one winning and making history. Lebron had the stats argument with the points rebounds assists. Kobe was winning. Kobe was scoring all those 50 points when Lebron was at his athletic peak.

Lebron was more like a Westbrook, he was just going after stats but when you watch the game you weren’t overwhelmed like with Kobe’s game. It was boring to watch and never resulted in much winning. I don’t care that he led a bad team to the finals cuz he got swept.

Forget stats just for a second. Look at footage of Kobe and Lebron one on one. Not only did we all think Kobe was better. Kobe knew it and Lebron admitted it. Lebron said Kobe is better than him. This was Lebron at his athletic peak, even when he played defense.

Do you not believe Lebron?

And then he’s padded his stats all these years but he’s not better on defense than he was then. He never surpassed Kobe in skill. He’s just played a long time and trying to make people forget.

Kobe was the best player. That's the fact.

Not sure I get the need to use this to go at LeBron.

lol you talking about the interview where LeBron was clearly stoned?

That's the only time Lebron said that Kobe was better but it doesn't mean anything because he was literally drunk or high during that interview

Respect for an elder/childhood hero. It happens in every sport. If Mahomes says Brady is better do we put stock into that?

when you lack substance(skills), You always pretend to be great by statpadding. Thats what lebron/westbrook is. But in the end, these frauds will always get exposed

LeBron always dominated Kobe.

Kobe was intimidated by LeBron and knew by 2009 that LeBron was a lot better than him.

LeBron is just a nice guy and he looked up to Kobe as a kid.

He seems very sober in that video, just seems mesmerized by thinking of Kobe. He's on 60 minutes. He said it!

And Kobe seemed so confident when he said he would beat Lebron one on one easily. Lebron barely challenged that claim when he was asked about it and said that we need to stop asking because we're never going to see it.

No, he's not just trying to be a nice guy lol. And not only did Kobe dominate Lebron one on one offensively, but he blocked him twice in the span of like 5 minutes!

Dude. Head to head LeBron always killed Kobe in both statistics and in wins.

Kobe was always hesitant against LeBron and his stats suffered. Meanwhile LeBron just pushed him aside like he did everyone else. Including hitting q game winner over Kobe.

This is common knowledge. Kobe could never get the best of LeBron.

But Bron really is a super nice guy. He's genuine and he respected Kobe.
